The Hellenic
Centre, founded as a charity in 1994, has the complementary aims of providing a focus for
the Hellenic community and promoting an awareness of Hellenic culture in the United
Kingdom. To these ends, the Centre offers a programme of exhibitions, conferences,
lectures, concerts and cultural events. The Hellenic Centre is housed in elegant, light and spacious premises with lift service to four floors. Equipped with a particularly fine grand hall, the Centre welcomes members and non-members alike who wish to use its comprehensive range of facilities for business, professional, cultural and social purposes. The Centre is conveniently situated in Paddington Street in the heart of the West End of London. There is easy access by bus and underground and good on and off street parking in the immediate vicinity, including two NCP car parks within 100 metres. |

THE GREAT
HALL This large pleasant space, incorporating a spacious balcony, is readily adaptable for exhibitions, conferences, concerts, film and theatrical presentations, banquets and other large social occasions. With natural light when required, and a full professional lighting system and state of the art audio-visual equipment, it has been described by Apollo Magazine as "one of the best equipped and, equally crucial, most sympathetic of cultural institutes". Equipment includes comfortable seating, a modular stage, podium, and a Steinway concert grand piano C. |

THE LOUNGE
AND BAR The Lounge on the ground floor provides a comfortable meeting place for members and their guests. Drinks and coffee available from the adjacent bar, which is open to all users of the Centre. |

THE
RESTAURANT The small dining room, served by a fully equipped kitchen, is the ideal location for business or social occasions. It connects with the balcony which serves as a cafe or an extension to the restaurant. The centre offers facilities ranging from snacks to a full banquet. Menus are available on reguest. |

THE
LIBRARY The library, is situated on the second floor, houses a good collection of books on modern Greece and Cyprus. It is available for reference ands study purposes. |

THE
BOARDROOM This elegant room, situated on the first floor, provides space for meetings and conferences for up to 18 people around the table and up to 55 lecture style. There is ample natural light from the large sound-proofed windows. |

COMMITTEE
& MEETING ROOMS There are five rooms of varying sizes suitable for smaller meetings and seminars. They may also be used for group work for larger seminars. A11 rooms are well proportioned, have comfortable seating and natural light. |
